Goshen’s Founders

Abraham Kariuki, MSW, QMHP, ALF Admin, and Nancy Kariuki are the founders and the heart behind Goshen. They founded Goshen with a shared belief: older adults deserve to be truly known, not just managed.

With a background in social work and senior care, Abraham brings a deep understanding of how environment, routine, and relationships shape the quality of life.

Together, Abraham and Nancy built Goshen around a small-home, small-census model of care that is intentionally designed to foster calm routines, consistent relationships, and close communication with families.

By keeping each home intentionally small, Goshen is able to provide more personalized attention, steadier daily rhythms, and a stable, familiar environment where dignity, safety, and independence are protected every day.
